About the event

When educators prioritize proactive planning to support children during routine times of the day, such as circle time and transitions, it can greatly enhance the child''s chances of success. This is particularly true when it comes to supporting children with exceptional needs. In the second part of our Supporting Children with Exceptional Needs workshop, we will delve deeper into activity-based interventions and provide participants with a booklet of practical language and strategies that can be easily implemented to support children right away. Jennifer Bell is a long-standing advocate in the community with 20+ years of experience including Marin County’s Early intervention program and as an adjunct professor at SRJC, Dominican and Sonoma State. Participation in both workshops is ideal for all educators to feel supported and confident to work with children with diverse needs.
