Who We Are
Founded in 1979, the Council is a non-profit agency that offers a variety of services for parents, child care providers and the community that are essential to the delivery of quality child care in the county.

How is the Council funded?
We receive State Department of Education funds as well as contributions from businesses and individuals.

MISSION
Our mission is to improve the availability, accessibility and affordability of quality childcare.

We fulfill this mission by:

Increasing the supply of affordable, quality childcare in Marin County that meets parental needs Improving stakeholder access to high quality information about childcare Supporting families enrolled in the subsidy program in their efforts to achieve self-sufficiency Advocating for full funding of childcare subsidies for all eligible families
